Participation is a deeply held value in Unity. Please take time to inform yourself of this significant moment in Unity history and to participate in the this decision-making process.

For many years, the Unity movement has been served by two organizations with two distinct functions:

  • Unity Worldwide Ministries (UWM) provides support services to our ministries and leaders throughout the world

  • Unity World Headquarters (UWH) owns Unity Village, houses our Silent Unity Prayer Ministry, and produces Unity publications.

The fact that Unity is comprised of two separate organizations has caused some confusion and there have been multiple attempts to bring the two organizations together.

Unity Reimagined is another attempt at unification – one that has proceeded further than any previous attempts and which UWM members will be voting on November 5 at their Annual Business Meeting.

This unification would look like a merger or acquisition with the services currently provided by UWM becoming a department of UWH under the title Unity Communities and Leaders (UC&L).

Canadian Credentialed Leaders (Ministers, Licensed Unity Teachers), and lay leaders are urged to familiarize themselves yourself with this initiative through UWM’s connection page https://unityworldwide.org/connection-space

2️⃣ learn what Credentialed Leaders (Ministers & LUTs) need to do to ensure you can vote at the November 5 meeting

To vote at the Annual Business Meeting, the following must be accomplished by Oct 16:

  • Credentialed Leaders (Ministers and LUTs) must have submitted their Credentialed Leaders Report (CLR) for 2024. If you have not yet filed, email annualreportforms@unity.org to do so.

  • Ministries must have filed their Annual Ministry Report (AMR) for 2024. If you have not yet filed, email annualreportforms@unity.org to do so.

UWM is waiving the need for Credentialed Leaders to be up to date on 2024 CEUs to vote at this year's annual meeting.

3️⃣ learn what the Ministry Board needs to do to assign delegates who can vote at the November 5 meeting

The Ministry Board is responsible for assigning delegates from the ministry (up to 4 delegates for a traditional ministry, and up to 2 delegates from an alternative ministry).

UWM is waiving the need for delegates to take the delegate class.

The delegate names must go in a letter on the ministry's letterhead, signed by the Board President/Chair, and then sent to Brenda Hicks-Wiggins (bhicks-wiggins@unity.org)

🔴 Attending and viewing the Annual Meeting: Voting members and approved delegates will be sent a zoom link for the Annual Meeting. Others who are interested in viewing the meeting may attend via Facebook Live.
