Stewarding the Space Between Us

Several years ago, I read about stewarding the space between us. For me, this was a very powerful way of looking at relationship.
I frequently ponder questions such as:
How am I practicing mindful stewardship in the space between myself and others?
How consciously am I paying attention to this relationship?
How well am I listening?
It seems to me that careful stewardship of the space between us would dramatically shift the way we operate in this world and transform our way of navigating the many difficult challenges we face.

As I consult with communities, I endeavor to build capacity for such stewardship. Otto Scharmer’s work with Theory U has been a game changer for me in this work. Theory U is all about navigating the social field from a place of deep listening, collectively tuning into the voice of Source, discovering what is trying to emerge, and nurturing this emergence.
This work is humbling and powerful, for it invites us to consider the challenges we face not as problems to be solved, but as opportunities to open to Spirit's call and to join with one another in responding to that call.
It is such a joy to work with communities and support them in discovering the incredible beauty, wonder, and creative power that is alive in their midst. I am constantly humbled, blessed, and inspired by these experiences.
If you're wondering whether this or my other consultation services might support your ministry, I'm happy to listen and explore this together. Email: regionalrep@unitycanada.org
May your day be filled with the wonder of discovering more of who you are and what you have to give to the world.
