A New Year of New Possibilities

“For I am about to create new heavens and a new earth.” (Isiah 65:17)

The hope and inspiration contained in this passage opens us to the blessings ahead as we step into a new year filled with new possibilities. It is a message that seems particularly relevant to Unity at this moment in time.

Many of you are aware that UWM’s (Unity Worldwide Ministries) membership voted to become a part of UWH (Unity World Headquarters). This means Unity enters 2026 as one unified organization.

The support services for ministries and credentialed leaders, and the educational programs that have previously been provided by UWM are now under a department of UWH called Unity Communities & Leaders (UC&L)

This acquisition is complex, and it will take some time for all the details to be worked out.

Unity Canada is staying connected with various teams at UWH and will provide you with information as it unfolds. Be sure to join our monthly Cross Canada Calls for updates, conversations, practical information and inspiration as we lean into all that is new!

As we prepared for this transition, UWM’s Standards Team worked on revisions to Unity’s Code of Ethics for Ministries and the Code of Ethics for Leaders. I shared the revised documents with you last month, and a reminder about these documents was sent out recently. Unity ministries and leaders are accountable to these documents.

➡️You do not need to take any action beyond familiarizing yourself with their content. As we move more deeply into the unification process, ministries and leaders will be invited to become Circle Partners. To do so, you will be required to sign these documents.
