It is a joy to walk alongside you on this spiritual journey, and I am always eager to speak with you and to support you in your wonderful work. As we move into Fall 2024, there are a number of important things for me to update you on.
The Special Dispensation program is designed to support Unity communities in developing leadership from within. The leaders serving under Special Dispensation are mentored by an Ordained Unity Minister. This person might also provide services/training to support the spiritual community. ➡️ If you think the Special Dispensation program might work for your community, please reach out to me for more information.
The Minister of Record program is also available to support small spiritual communities without Credentialed Unity Leaders. This program links an experienced Unity Minister with a ministry to provide guidance and support; most of this support is provided virtually. The Minister attends board meetings, guiding and supporting them in their leadership. They also work closely with the Spiritual Leadership Team in planning and offering opportunities for spiritual development. Ministries that currently work with a Minister of Record are Unity of Calgary, Unity of Edmonton, and Unity of Winnipeg. ➡️ Again, please reach out to me if you are interested in engaging a Minister of Record.
I also want to make you aware of some policy changes made by Unity Worldwide Ministries.
The Code of Ethics has been separated into 2 different documents, one is a Code of Ethics for Unity Leaders, and the other is a Code of Ethics for Unity Ministries. You can locate these codes at:
